Commercial Leasing Agents-SBM

Last but not least; the ability to get new customers into new space and the ability to keep customers by taking care of them better than anyone else is the reason why SBM consistently fills more than 90% of the available space under their management.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Generate interest in available commercial real estate space.
  • Meet with potential tenants and tour open space with them.
  • Follow up on potential tenant leads
  • Perform background/credit checks on potential tenants to qualify them for space.
  • Prepare proposals for leases.
  • Prepare the necessary lease documents and perform tenants of our requirements and regulations.
  • Assist with collection of security deposits and rents.
  • Tenant relations. Keep tenants informed about any changes or necessary information. Address their concerns and complaints.
  • Monitor and help maintain common areas.
  • Notify of any maintenance needs.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Required skills and Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of experience in commercial real estate.
  • Ability to work in an office environment and in the field.
  • Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
  • Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
  • Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues
  • Ability to provide best in class customer service.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds and climb stairs.
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in a business related field a plus.
